Mark Time is a specialized application designed for Celestial Navigation, addressing the challenge of accurately recording time readings alongside sextant sightings.

The user-friendly interface allows for precise UTC time capture with a simple tap on the screen, eliminating the possibility of conversion errors. Each recorded time is efficiently stored in one of five accessible registers.

This functionality is especially beneficial when working with an assistant but proves to be equally effective for solo navigators.

Upon recording a time, users receive both auditory and haptic feedback, negating the need to visually confirm on-screen prompts. Moreover, the application provides easy access to the recorded latitude and longitude at any given time, facilitating verification of calculations.

The configurable settings allow users to tailor the app's features according to their preferences. Additionally, users have the option to capture a photograph of their sextant at the marked time, enabling later examination of sextant readings. The pinch-and-zoom feature further enhances the ability to closely inspect scale details.
